The Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama (NPAA) seeks to improve access to safe, high-quality, cost-effective health care for Alabama’s citizens. Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice nurses who provide health care services similar to those of a physician. We are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services when and where you need them.

Alabama, Nurse Practitioners are by your side!

The primary purpose of our organization is to coordinate and provide a mechanism for all NP groups in Alabama to speak with one voice concerning:

• Full utilization of NPs for the citizens of Alabama

• Advocating for professional privileges consistent with our educational preparation

• Advocating for issues of significant importance for the general welfare of NPs

• Improving the health and welfare of Alabama’s citizens by improving the healthcare delivery system within our state.

We also serve as a clearing house for all communication, practice issues, educational opportunities, and other announcements pertinent to NP practices.

It is NOT the purpose of NPAA to replace any NP professional organization in Alabama, but to serve as a united voice for all professional NP organizations.
