Here’s the Spring Professional Power Boost you’ve been looking for! 

Mark your calendar for April 30, University of South Alabama, Baldwin County Campus, Fairhope. 

The Bay Area Nurse Practitioners Association (BANPA) has assembled a stellar team that will provide the latest insight into the NP profession and the very latest legislative developments nationally, regionally and in Alabama. We will also have a session that explores the Top 20 Drugs.

Sessions designed with you in mind, 

  •          Dr. Jane Selway, President, American College of Nurse Practitioners will provide a fast-paced update on developments in health care reform.
  •          Richard Brown, President of the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama (NPAA) and Lori Lioce, NPAA past president and chief legislative liaison will shed light on recent developments concerning NPs in the Alabama legislature and in legislatures regionally, including Mississippi and Florida.
  •          Terry Wilhite, Communications Strategist, will provide insight into communication efforts NPAA has embarked upon, its recent accomplishments and the exciting plans for the future, including how you can be part of a revolution.       

In addition to these speakers, we’ll also cover: 

  •           Billing and coding for NPs by a certified professional coder   
  •           What you need to know: "Exploring the Top 20 Drugs"
  •           Upcoming professional development opportunities


Note: We’ll offer at least 8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs); Poster presentations will be available, increasing the number of CEUs.
