Call for Nominations - AANP 2014 Elections

AANP will open the Call for Nominations for the 2014 election on Monday, October 14, 2013. Information on the election and eligibility to seek offices listed below will be emailed to members on October 14 and will be posted in E-Bulletin and SmartBrief. If you are planning to seek elected office, please remember that you must be a current AANP member and have been an AANP member in good standing for the 12 months prior to October 14, 2013, without a lapse in membership. If you were a member of ACNP and are now a member of AANP, your membership must have continued without a lapse from October 14, 2012 - October 14, 2013.

Deadline for applications to be received by AANP is January 13, 2014.

Nominations Committee

Two (2) positions are open

Term of office for Recording Secretary, Regional Directors and State Representatives is two years; and term of office for Nominations Committee is three years. President-Elect will serve one year in that capacity and then will serve the following two years as president, followed by one year as past-president, for a total of four years. All elected officers begin their term at the close of the 2014 AANP Annual Membership Meeting that will be held during the 2014 National Conference in Nashville, June 17 – 22. All nominations will be reviewed by members of the AANP Nominations Committee, who will vet nominees and develop a slate to reflect expertise and diversity, with at least two but no more than three candidates per position.
